Information we collect
1. Unregistered users
We encourage you to register with us in order to take advantage of any personalized features that will be added to kiddcierge in the future. However, you may choose not to register and take advantage of any feature of our site where registration is not required.
If you do not register, then the information we collect from you is limited. We may request your location using your IP address in order to give you relevant results based on your current location. We do not store this information and it would be extremely difficult to identify you through your IP address. If you have reached our site through an advertisement, we log that information in order to best know how to advertise for our users. This is done on an overall basis so that we can pull reports based on our users but not individual user reports.
We may place files known as “cookie’s” on your computer’s hard drive. This doesn’t provide us with identifiable information about you and doesn’t pull any information from your computer. It just shows us if you have visited before and how you use the site in order for us to better understand how to make the site most useful for our users. We do collect Google Analytics Demographic and Interest Reporting to better understand who is using our site and again, how to make the site most useful for you. You can turn off cookies through your web browser and Ads Settings, however this may make your experience on our site and others function differently.
2. Registered users
If you register with us, you will be able to add content to the site. You may post your own reviews and add listings for venues that haven’t yet been listed. We may also at some point add a forum which you will then be able to participate on should you wish.
You will also be able to save listings and share them with others. As we expand and learn more about our users, we may add more features that will personalize your experience and make the site even more useful for you. Therefore, we encourage you to register as it will allow us to provide you with a richer experience on kiddcierge.
If you do register, we will collect personal information such as your name, email address, username, password (encrypted) and possible other personal information such as birth dates as we introduce new features. We will only ever collect information that you provide us with by entering them into forms. We may store some of that information in a cookie in order to know you are visiting in the future and provide you with the most seamless experience possible. To improve our offerings and give you a personalized experience, from time to time we may obtain information about you from other independent 3rd-party sources to add to your user profile. In addition to these periodic updates, we may email you additional materials, but only if you specifically request them. These might include opt-in newsletters and other materials that you proactively request from kiddcierge.
In addition to these communications, if you have provided an email address, we may use your personal information to send you notifications about special offers or to tell you about opportunities available from our partners. You may opt-out of any or all marketing communications from kiddcierge in any commercial e-mail we send or at any time, as well as access and update your personal information, by visiting your user dashboard when this becomes available.
